Haha.. No. We don't have quotas where I work. We have a traffic division that just handles accidents and traffic law enforcement. We can all pull cars over for traffic violations if we have time but we tend to be a bit busy so traffic stops are kind of rare and reserved for major infractions or stupidity.

I know of one case where it happened. Guy wrote himself a 72 hour fix it ticket for having a headlight on, ON THE CRUISER. He was then suspended. Of course this was about 20 years ago.

I am Federal so if I write an 1805, your going into the Federal system and your not going to like the pain ... Federal Magistrate's do not play or want their court time taken up by self-made lawyers ... heck, Johnny Cochran ( rest his soul ) woulda been bounced for some of his antics...

MMMM Talking about tickets!! be careful, there is a special under-cover dept who's sole purpose is to write tickets. I dont know what state though
