THought I would share a pic of my Pops car. Its a 65 Buick Grand Sport. 350 bored 40 over, high rise intake, cams, Munsy 3 speed with a positrac rear end. Frame off restore a couple of years ago. Gorgeous car...
Now I hope I loaded this correctly.

Very nice. I helped a friend in high school do a frame off on a 65 Riviera. Those cars were light compared to our cars.

Reminds me of the '66 Old F-85 I had With a column shift. Really one of the faster cars I had when I was was young and poor. Was really fast and reliable. At one time I had a '55 Buick special with a column shift, and guys used to bet me that a Buick couldn't burn rubber. Won a lot of money with that car!! Sold it to a guy who wanted the standard tranny for his dragster for way more than I bought the car for! My first positive investment!

He's got a 350 in it,I thought they came with the 340,but I could be mistaken. Those were nice cars, fairly light too. I had a 67 Sport Wagon with the 340 in it and it was no slouch. If he's got it restified he might consider putting a 5 speed in it and add some gear to the rear end and it would really fly and still get great gas mileage.

I'm not sure but I dont think its the original motor. Fairly sure its a 350 though. THe car is mover. With the nice cam and the exhaust it makes a nice loping sound with a nice note on take off.
