4.10s and stuff?

Well finally getting around to upgrading my rear end. Was thinking 4.10s but have some questions first, how about the speedo? is it off by much or do I need to change the gear in the trans to fix it? I was also contemplating going to 31 spline axles and diff carrier. Any pros or cons on this? Local dealership quoted me 1700 for complete rebuild with new bearings, seals and the 31 spline axles and carrier. plus a 12 month 12000 mile warranty is this a good deal. And I will only have the dealer do it cause the other shops in town are all crap with no warranty.

You don't need to change anything in the transmission, or make any other physical change. It's all done by re-programming the data in the ECU.
