There have been many posts about best song to listen to while driving MMs, but this one does quite fit that category. You all can figure out what category it falls in.

I have that on a 45 and I have been listening to it since I can remember... the song not the record. My mom used to say I would get freaked out at the end of the song because the cars are going too fast!!!!!!!

Category: "Car Songs -- Humorous"

Dayum that video just messed up my vision of that Cadillac-Nash race. For 50 years, I have envisioned the Nash as a Nash "Neopolitan" even though the title of the song is Nash Rambler. The pics in the video just didn't match my memory of the car ... can't say I ever remember seeing a Nash Rambler (as pictured in the video). The Neopolitan fits the "beep, beep" category better, I think.

Shouldn't that be "Metropolitan" I don't think it was named after the ice cream

The Nash Metropolitan is a car that was sold from 1954 to 1962.

It conforms to two classes of vehicle: economy car and subcompact car In today’s terminology the Metropolitan is a “subcompact”, but this category had not yet come into use when the car was made. At that time it was variously categorized, for example as a "small automobile" as well as an "economy car". The Metropolitan was also sold as a Hudson when Nash and Hudson merged in 1954 to form the American Motors Corporation (AMC), and later as a stand alone marque during the Rambler years, as well as in the United Kingdom and other markets.

This is the song I like for our cars....although most of ours wont do 0-60 in 3.5 (there may be one or two out there) for the most part this song fits.

Could be .... but the ones that I remember only came in Black, White or Pink. ;) My observation still holds .... I had always envisioned the "Metropolitan" whenever I heard the song. :D

But I gotta say, that classically its gotta be "Heavy Metal" Don Felder, formerly of the eagles.

Other wise its AC/DC all the way, "Back in Black", "Highway to Hell", "TNT", "Dirty deeds Done Dirty Cheap", ya just can't go wrong! I'm gonna fill up the cd changer with their albums when I can get some cash.
