Does anyone know what the stock wattage is for the OEM speakers in a Marauder? I was thinking of using them with a higher power stereo but don't want to blow them out.
Also, are these speakers 8 ohms, 4 ohms or 2 ohms impedence? I don't want them to draw too much current.

Thanks.

Factory radio might put out a max of 22 watts which is 5.5 watts per speaker.

If your going to upgrade the radio you should just upgrade the factory speakers while your at it.

The stock speakers are not very good to say the least. Put in your new stereo and run the stock speakers for a few weeks while saving up for new ones to go with you upgades head unit. If you blow them you blow them they are junk anyways.

I did not realize they were rated for that low of a power level.

does the amp just run the sub or all the speakers? is their an issue of running an aftermarket deck? i put an aftermarket deck in my '91 crown vic and my sisters '96 taurus and found that all the speakers were wired up to an amp in teh back so i had to by pass the amp to allow my deck to work.

The deck runs the speakers in the car and the aaaaamp runs the sub. If you replace the amp the stock sub does not work.
