Eagle Hunts & Kills Goats

Some of the other videos on there are messed up.

But in this one it seems the eagle has some technique.

We have quite a few eagles around my place.
We have seen them take rabbit and squirrel.

As soon as we saw that video my wife said "see I told you to bring the cats in when they circle the house".

Holy hell....goats? That's plain crazy. :eek:

That is a wild video...pretty smart birds to know that if they can get the goats off the cliff edge, gravity will take care of the rest.
Have you seen the video of that HUGE Eagle taking down a deer!!

BTW:
I knew a guy who lived in Southern Maryland (Waldorf area) where a pair of Bald Eagles nested in his large, wooded back yard.
I would watch them perch in a tall pine tree and they were BIG birds! You couldn't get too close or they would spook.
His mother lived next door to him and she kept telling him that she had seen the eagles swoop down and try to snag her cat.
He thought ...:bs:...and that she was loosing her mind until one day an eagle did snag the cat and tried to fly off with it...
But the cat was going ballistic and the eagle dropped the cat from about 10 feet up.
Tha cat survived the fall onto the lawn, but had several bad gashs on it's back and hind quarters from the eagle's talons.
