Hello. I've lurked around this site from time to time. I have been interested in Mercury Marauders since they were first announced. Even picked up a dealer brochure for the car when they first came out.
I currently drive a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis LSE. This is the model somewhat similar to the Marauder since it has dual exhaust, 3.27 gear ratio (but it's not limited slip), and a floor shifter with a center console. I like to think of it as a Marauder, but without any of the performance.
I would have purchased a Marauder instead of my LSE, but I needed a car fast and no Marauders were for sale around me at that time. I do really like my car though. It's very comfortable. I purchased it late in 2006 with 45K miles on it. It currently has 76K miles and it still runs perfectly. I did add a trunk organizer and always use Royal Purple motor oil.
I post on CVN.net quite a lot, and just signed up here. I don't own a Marauder yet. Anyways, it's good to meet everyone.
