Two times I have it pot holes (not real big ones) in the road and my car just turns off. I roll to a stop turn off the car. Wait a minute and the car starts back up.
The first time it was raining and my front left tire hit a pot hole on a back raod and the second it was clear night and my right rear tire hits a pot hole and the check engine light comes on. This time I had to stop turn the lights off and the car started.
Anyone else have this problem.

George, I'd suspect the fuel shutoff thingey, reacting to a sharp bump. Sometimes you have to find and push the hidden red button, near the passenger side kick panel, I think, but I guess it may just do an auto reset with an ignition on - off cycle.
Then again, :dunno:

I would suspect a poor connection somewhere, check the battery first, then main junction box underhood where the battery feed goes into it.
Good luck.
Sounds like the crank trigger connector is loose.
I highly doubt its the inertia switch, because there is always enough fuel in the rails to keep the engine running for at least a few seconds.

Also look at the fuel pump driver module connections, especially the ground. G400 should be near the module, just a green bolt screwed into the trunk support that the module is mounted to inside the left rear of the trunk, behind the trim panel near the air suspension cut-off switch. Have seen these grounds on the Mustangs cause problems. Poor connections at the inertia switch could also cause this, but the switch itself does not reset on it's own. Once it trips, you have to manually reset, so probably not the switch itself. Problem does sound electrical, though. Good luck

Fuel pump shuts off when you have a collision. Mebbe it thinks you keep wrecking the car?

I thought the fuel shut off switch is in the trunk?

it is in the trunk.
i would doubt its the fuel cutoff switch, i'm pretty sure you'd have to reset it manually, the car wouldnt just start back up without going to the trunk and resetting. i would check all my connections, battery cables, etc.

It's the PCM relay.
