This is actually a very nice area and I have been to that exact spot. Its across the river in St. Louis. Lots of nice restaurants and stores to shop in. My thoughts and sypathies are with his family and fellow officers. I hope we catch this guy.

The suspected shooter was caught new Kansas City, Mo. I also talked to a fellow officer who has knowledge of the shooting. Evidently the guy walked up to the squad car and fired 6 shots into the car, three struck the officer killing him. No motive has been put out yet.
