Ceramic pads?

From me only Poly Q pads which I no longer stock due to poor comment.
They are Raybestos Quiet stop pads. Inconcistant results.

You can try other brand such as Hawk also. You'll need the THIN pad for a BSL6 caliper if asked.

I am using the Raybestos pads and I'm happy with them
The Hawk ones are supposed to be just as good-worth
Trying.Some say better but I have never tried them.

Im still displeased with the braking.
Ive had the 20's and the 10's on my car. Both stopped the same, but the 10's produce little to no dust.
Ive yet to try the Hawks.
Ive bled the system til I was Blue in the face trying to get a better pedal and stopping power to no avail.

I've had ZERO (0) problems with my Wilwoods. A little dusty for my taste but it stops on a dime and gives $.09 change.

I'm just disappointed that Zack feels that way. The combo here is the same as found on both 13" my Impala kit, LX platform, all the 13" Mustang kits and all the 13" Vette kits aside from rotor width which is limited by our wheel fit and has no impact on brake torque- just heat saturation which I'm sure he's not experiencing.

The math of it all works out as roughly 4sq" of piston on 13" of rotor. As I said; the same as many of the mass produced kits. The total area of the BSL6 is less than the oem caliper and when combined with the larger rotor, narrower pad will require a small increase in foot effort to achieve the same final tq value. The pedal will be immediately be firmer than stock and on any similar sized caliper.

Can't speak for the Bears but if the pistons are larger they will be more "grabby" on a larger rotor and require less leg input. Add to that the unknown of the pad make ups and you can make or break about 5% rotor tq pretty quickly. What you won't get no matter is hight tq without either the need for greater leg muscle or higher Cf pad. Looking for a pad with low noise and low dust combined with greater bite doesn't exist. Tossing in a set of PolyD pads will wake it up like nobody's business. I also have one old set of HPS kicking around here if someone would like them for deal.

I don't have "big brakes", but the Hawk HPS and Brembo OEMs provide significantly better performance over my stock setup. Several friends run the Hawk HP+ and are quite pleased with them also.

HPS is to BP10 as HP+ is to BP20 in comparing the two.

BP10 is less inspiring but stable in temps, BP20 while it gets better with heat is more dusty and wears quicker.

The HPS and HP+ use ferro-carbon compounds.
