I'm going back to work tomorrow! The cardiologist and my regular doctor cleared me to return to work after almost 3 months off due to Atrial Fibrillation. It ain't been no picnic but I'm looking down and seeing green grass and not laying down looking up and seeing roots so I'm pretty lucky and happy. There were some problems along the way and I came close to losing a leg due to complications to an injury I suffered while I was off work and that had me worried for a while.
I've had to modify my lifestyle to keep my risks down and I'm going to be on various meds for some time yet but that's a small price to pay so I'm not complaining. I'm hoping now I'll be able to handle my job okay and finish out the next 8 1/2 years until I can retire and get away from the stress caused by where I work.
Thanks to you guys who were concerned and helped encourage me along the way,it's nice to have so many friends and people who care.

Good luck Sir. I myself just found out that I may be able to return to work earlier than the doctor expected.

In my case I felt disoriented, spacey, very tired, and weak, my breathing was all funky and not in a normal rhythm. It had happened once before for a period of three hours then stopped after I ate and took a ten minute break so I figured I'd just been hungry and tired. The next time it happened I ate a couple of sandwiches and that didn't do any good and I got feeling worse. I ended up in the ER a short while later.
Here's some info on it.

I just went thru this, this past weekend. Didn't feel the same symtoms, but I did feel my heart racing and I could look at my chest and see that my heart wanted to jump out of my chest. I went to the ER as well and they tried a couple of different med's. to have my heart go back to a normal rhythm , didn't work. After about 24 1/2 hours it went back to a normal rhythm on it's own. They would have shocked my heart this past Monday, but didn't need to. They said that if it had kept doing this for 72 hours, it would have created a blood clot and it would have broken loose and went to the brain and caused a stroke. For now, all is well and I'm just waiting to see the cardiologist and another specialist.

Alright UncleLar... Great to hear you're getting better! Those parts you requested, I've been on nights and won't see him till middle November towards December, when I'm back on days.
