Doom -- Lorton Glory Days is a little far on the southern fringe of CAMLand and makes it a little "inconvenient" for our more northerly brethern. Might be better to shoot for a Spring 2009 meet in Lorton, VA.

In that case, If we made it Saturday afternoon,
We could head over to the Glen Burnie cruise at Marley Station Mall in the evening could check out all the BAD Detroit Iron that go over there on Saturday nights.
With good weather, they will get 300 cars...easy.

i definitely have to agree. G&M's has the best. Gunning's is pretty good too.
i am also very close to G&M's, literally 5 mins. depending on if i get caught @ the 2 traffic lights that are in the way. actually since they are doing the construction/detour/road closing on Hammonds Ferry (baltimore county side) it may take me 8 minutes.


so is this going to be sunday or sat? i might be able to get off sunday (usually working) but probably wont be able to get off sat. i'd like to meet some of you guys before next season & put some faces with the names.

These weekly gatherings tend to "thin out" considerably after late October when the weather start to get more iffy. Need Joe or someone to check and see whether Marley Station is still worth a try. Distance from G&M to Marley Station is less than 9 miles (I-695 to MD 2 south).

Definitely weather dependent...cold weather won't limit the turnout nearly as much as the chance of rain.

Only problem with the 'Lost in the 50s'/Glen Burnie cruise is that we would NOT be able to park our Marauders in the show lot because they are too new.
They typically limit it to 1973 and earlier cars.
I don't know anyone in the 'Lost in the 50s' club, but I could call and see if they would make an exception for a large turnout of Marauders...:dunno:

So are we good for lunch on Saturday the 22nd at G&Ms??
