Badass. Anyone got the actual engine specs though? I can't seem to find them. I wonder how much they'll limit this one too, and how much it will cost. :help:

IIRC its a 5.4 N/A 4v making 400hp Available with an auto or manual trans.

Edit: oh wait, it says supercharged 5.4, but 400hp out of a S/C 5.4? Maybe a 3v?

No way they'd stick a 3v in that. I guarantee it's still a 4v. Where do you see 400HP because I sure don't?

One of the other atricles that popped up CVN. It is a supercharged 5.4 4V

which is whack, 100hp less than the GT500? :mad:

Never know though, it could potentially weigh less, and have better gearing = it to be faster than the GT500, since it says it's strictley for drag racing.

HP doesn't mean dick if you can't put it down.

Some people would rather have a lower-horsepower number, and a better curve, while others just go for the number.

You'd need to look at WHERE it's making that number. If it's making 400hp at 3000 rpms, that would be badass. Sure, the guy with a higher peak number can sit on his high horse, but when you line up, it wouldn't matter.

400hp doesn't sound right, the article says "can compete right off of the truck and run in the 10-second range." Has to be more than even just a shelby gt500 powertrain.

Like I said, it may be making "only" 400hp, but like Aaron stated, where in the RPM range. Not to mention I said it could weigh 1k less than the Shelby, if not lighter, gearing etc. I can see that car running 10's.

I knew it, exactly why it "only" has 400hp.
