I heard about this site about a year ago.

http://www.bringbackthesho.com/

They had used Marauder wheels on some of the concept pictures (probably photoshopped).

I have owned 5 SHO's not sure what it is about them but they are hard for me to let go. I still have a 93 turbo project car but I think I am finally going to step away from the SHO game all together and finally move on.

I like to drive the SHO but when it's time for it to go away, I will part with it without remorse.
I got it for nuts and had my fun.
Project cars are tough especially this old.
Look for a SHO debut at the 2009 auto show.

I had a blast in my '95 MTX. That thing had 147k on it and would take GTP's all day long. Yes, if you "neglect" them, they are a nightmare to bring back to life, but mine was reliable. Then again, I sunk about $1200 or so into mine to get it back to spec.

Bad cams yup it happened to me...but yet It would take a 100 shot of juice just to keep up with stock stangs from a dig, note, keep up. not win. GEN 1's and 2's were very cool, but 3's were a pile of ****.

Ford finally got it right with the Marauders!!! My MM would MURDER an SHO. I've got video of me killing one with my 03 at the drag strip. Give me a few and I'll find it.

Edit: CRAP. The person hosting the video added a PW to their photobucket and the link dosn't work anymore!

Jason, part that beotch out and get yourself a blower!

What were you expecting? It's only a 3.4l vs. a 4.6l.

Yea, a POS non-pi 215hp version! Automatic VERT!.

Well wasn't the "glory" of the SHO about doing so much with so little?

I thought the gen 2's would do 0-60 in 6.5, thats a full second faster than a marauder is

Gen 1's and 2's wern't so bad. I dunno if they really went that fast. Most of them up here that ran at our track did mid-high 15's. My V8 SHO ran 16.2's and then 14.8's with the 100 shot. I ran my old MM against an 89 and I got 2 cars out of the hole on him and the distance stayed the same the entire run. I ran a 15.5 and he ran a 15.8. I would LOVE the opertunity to line my new one next to a Gen 3 V8. I'd murder it..hahahahaha

The SHO's with the V6 5-speeds were a much more potent package.

My SHO ran a 14.8 at the track. I know a lot of guys who run mid 14's with a few mods in their MTX's. They're much better than the ATX's and Gen 3's. Ryan good luck finding a good reliable one! That's the problem now a days. They're either all beat, or are a parts car that you have to revive.

I was given the SHO, and still could have bought one in driving condition for much less.
I got it from the first owner's wife, who's hubbie had passed away.
It took over a year for the state to send a title in her name so she could legally dispose of the car.
The whole time it sat at the Crystal Lake train station.
It was kool to hear the lady nearing her 80's, tell me the sho could take most cars off the line !

That's HoustinoJillian's car. When he originally posted it on SHOforum he was asking almost $7k for the car. It's dropped dramatically to $4500. It's a nice car.
