So I blow by 2 Georgia Stateys sittin at the get off ramp somewheres in pudunksville GA. I have no clue where I was. I'm not admitting a dang thing, but suffice it to say thay had reason to light em up.:burnout:

Well, they didn't. They sat and sat. I watched em get small in the rear view 'till they were out of sight. I relaxed and bumped the "Set/Accel" button a little more...:cool4:

'Bout 45 seconds later the blues and that Charger grille and push bar got real big in my mirror REAL QUICK!!!:bigcry:

I signalled and pulled right thinkin they must wanna pass cuz they SURELY would have jumped quicker if it was for speed.

So one pulls me over and a moment later he's joined by his friend. He gets out and comes around to the passenger side. I had time to pull out all the appropriate paperwork and had it ready.:beatnik:

He says "The reason I pulled you over is because your tint is too dark." I just about died. TINT?! So with the straightest face I could muster I replied, "REALLY?!":confused:

"Yessir," he says and takes leave to go get his tint-o-meter. 2% he measures. I said I bought the car that way! :D

So he goes and writes it. Meanwhile Jamie and I are laughin our arses off. I quickly calculated the times and speeds and stuff and came up with about 120-130 mph they had to run to catch me that fast. 120-130 for a TINT TICKET?! Really...:shake:

So anyways, he was very cool and very professional and advised me that it would be a minimal charge equipment violation. We talked a minute about the cars. I told him about SSHS9 and that he should come!

Best I can figure is they wanted an excuse to stretch legs on those Chargers. Can't say I blame 'em. I would.:cool:

I budgeted $200-$250 for a ticket on this trip. This is well under budget!!! And no points, neither!!!!:rolleyes:

Every time i come through Georgia I get pulled for tint ..or some guy just wants to pull me over just to ask about the car .....I swear Georgia State police has nothing better to do ..lol

Hey Rich........unbeliveable....yo u getting a "tint" paper-----when I too got pulled over from GA.State Patrol as soon as I got on the interstate going home as well-- thought the young trooper ( who could barely see over the wheel) was just interested in the MM--oh well.. said he pulled me cause of having a " tage cover tinted" --he said "Don't know the law in NC but here in GA its against the law and deserves a ticket--but since you're on your way home --will give ya a warning"..I said OK sir, trying not to go off and eventually went on my way------ what a bunch of crap---- seems alot of those blue lites were out that day----------and I agree on the above quote............
