I couldn't have said it better.

A little side story on the same note. I was outside raking leaves off the yard yesterday when the 15 year old neighbor kid comes up. He says "hey veterans day is tomorrow." I acknowledged him and we made some small talk. He then puts his hand out and shakes my hand and says "Tomorrow is your day. Thank you and all the other Veterans." We talked some more and agreed to play some XBOX later in the week. Really good kid, and almost knocked me flat with that.

Oh yea, the Applebees and Golden Corrals around here give out free meals on Veterans Day so if you have served its probably worth checkin in your area to see if they offer the same deal.

To all Veterans, I cannot thank you enough. In my eyes Veterans day is every day. With out the services of our American Veterans we wouldn't have the freedoms we take for granted on a daily basis. If you know a Veteran, please thank them and wish them a Happy Veterans Day. You just might make their day. I salute you!!!!!!!

56 years ago next Jan. 7th, 1st Lt M. J. "Ginny" Disque married 1st Lt J. M. " Maury" Seitz at Lockborne AFB, Columbus , OH. If I had not become an Air Force pilot, I would never have met the love of my life. I thank all who made this possible and who have served since. We are proud of our families--there were 11 veterans all alive at one time--we are the only 2 left--makes you kinda proud in your old age. God Bless all who serve. GOD BLESS AMERICA
