Just wondering, the Nitto 420s 255-55-18 is an optional tire for the MM rear correct? Another question, is this a car or truck tire? Good for light snow? :help:

SUV performance tire. I have them and love them, however I would be very hesitant to use them in the winter.

I can't find any place that sells them around here so I'm gonna have to order them from tirerack and then have them put on.

It's a light truck tire.
Not good in snow. Too wide, too stiff, and too large a tread.

I love them. Great at the track as well.
They last 4x as long as the BFG under the same abuse.

I use the oem BFG in the front as I have found no other match I like. They last better than 20k if your allignment is true.

I bought mine from Discount tire and had them shipped to my home for <$120 each. What a bargain.

I wasn't aware Tire Rack carried Nitto.

Discount tire has them for $127. Thats not bad I guess. You guys do not recommend these tires for winter time usage? I need tires HELLLA bad and dont have the cash to buy just winter shoes for the big black car. I may have to just buy these and run them this winter. Either that or steal the shoes of my squad car at work. The BFG's I have are about a year old and are bald as me.

They are snows in the right size....I did a quick google search and have nothing more to add regarding them.

I may just try to go to the local bone yards and see if I can dig up some good tires off a CV or GM.

I am also running the OEM's up front.....the bigger Nittos give it an even more agressive look than before....

Got mine from Discount tire but I did a search of other places that sold them that had lower prices and discount matched them.
