Question, if I ordered the Super 44s 2 1/2 pipes, would I have to get a 2 1/2 H-pipe? I got stumped when Summit Racing asked me which size I wanted (2 1/4, 2 1/2, and 3 I believe). :help:

Haven't thought about it, I don't think I am a fan of bolting (I think I had issues with subframe connectors on the 5.0)!!!

So 2 1/2 would work no problems, thats what I want! I have been procrastinating for a while now!

Your stock H pipe is 2". Tail pipe is 2.25". Get them in 2.25" inlet/outlet. They will weld into the stock tailpipe and an adaptor will have to be made to connect the 2" H pipe to the 2.25" inlet. Its easy b/c the flomasters are of lesser length than the stock mufflers so an adaptor pipe will have to be fabricated anyway.

Are you getting new tubing and all? Or just cutting out stock mufflers and adding in flows?

For mine they just added a piece to the front and welded away. It could easily be cut back off if i ever ran with a custom h or x pipe.

If they can't, move on. Mine just cut out the oem and welded in the new, no problem.

It is, the shop only charged me $90.00 a peice for muffs and intall.

Are out pipes set up Offset-Offset or Offset-Centered, I just need to know so I can finally order my Super 44s???
