I'm not too keen on the grill treatment, but I kinda like the lines on the 'vert.

I DO like it, but I DO agree with HOTRAUDER on it being a smooshed version of the 05.

It seems like a good update from the 05 design. It looks like it has better fit and finish and its looks more "solid". I like it. Not a huge departure from the 05 but a good step up. The interior is a HUGE improvement.

+1 on the interior.

....I thought they were going to put the 3.5 in the V6 version....they really should have updated the V6 to compete with the new Camaro's 300+ hp V6...oh well. That 3.5 with 263hp like the Lincoln MKZ would have been nice.

The Ecoboost will be going in the Mustang.

Looks like Ronal ROH rims. Nice.

something about the slope of the front quarter reminds me of a MOPAR especially the profile pic of the gold one...I agree that it basically looks smooshed (great word by the way).

I think the new GT500 is the finest example of the current body style so far... but I'm getting so old I fart dust - so wth...to each their own

Me like it too, and the interior is scrumptious. :)

The big question is, though, will Ford be in business, by then.

Called sunlight ;)

Ford just needs to get the boss engine out already, before the new camaro is out.

Don't forget, budget constraint and all, how far could they actually go? The current style has only been out for 5 years, so no MAJOR update could realistically be expected. This is a very nice freshening of the current model, enough that you can tell it has been updated. The next version, whenever it comes out, will likely be a departure from the current design. As for the powerplants, yes, EcoBoost is coming, but don't forget - even when Camaro had the 5.7L and more power than the GT, Ford STILL outsold combined Camaro, Firebird and Corvette by over 4:1 margin. People buy the Mustang because of what it is, not just because of horsepower. We all want more, but from a business perspective, remember, how many are sold - that's where it counts. I, for one, can't wait to see it in the flesh.

Is the reverse camera necessary?

If you have Limo tint, it helps a lot especially in the dark.

I like it. I do wish they would have bumped the horse power up to say 350+. If GM is still alive come the slated production date (2/16/09) of the Camaro it'll have 300 in the V6 and 400 in the V8. But i'd still by the Mustang before the Camaro. Can't wait to see 1 in person.

after looking at it many times, it has grown on me...... i do now like it, the new body line is subtle but gorgeous.....

waiting for shelby to get rid of the plastic grill surround and goofy fog lights.

I like it. Still upset with their power #'s they gave it, I say they could have squeezed a bit more from it.
