I am in favor of anything that keeps my troops a little bit safer. Not sure I'd want to be the soldier testing the first set in the battlefield, though.

I'm sure those will not be available to the public. And as for the mud getting through, someone had mentioned this is a "prototype" tire and will probably be covered with rubber so no debris gets in.
