Hey FAMILY.... Don't you hate when you're out and about. And some know it all walks up on you and starts trying to tell you about your own car. It just amazes me how they think they know more about our cars than WE do....:shake:

Mine is an '07 model. It's the Type R model with the Brougham package and oversized seat covers, Yosemite Sam mudflaps and curb feelers.

Mine came with a factory supercharger disguised as an alternator, my alternator is a remote mount setup, amazingly it has no electro-lag due to the length of the car.

i think what is really disturbing is the amount of mechanics that are convinced about everything that is not correct about my car

LOL...I almost went for that option but instead went for the dual turbos mounted inside the second set of cats for $1000 more.

Yeah, glad I caught them before a major breakdown, that would have been expensive!

I opted to pay extra for the Extreme Duty replacements (normally reserved for CVPI models built for either congested urban or high speed rural applications), glad I did, gives me greater peace of mind.;)

Just my luck...the day they decide to build mine, they run out of black paint.

Oh well, better that than those "aluminized primer" models.
