WOW!!! This kid left me speechless. When my kid gets home, this will be a must see. That was really sad. Thank you you for what you given Brenden.

I saw that on the news yesterday. It does get your attention. It's a shame there aren't more Brendens in this world.
He was quite a kid.

That is very true and why does it have to take someone dying for action to be taken? Why can't people just do this more often out of the goodness in their heart?
The world could be a better place if everyone chipped in when they could and not when the mood just strikes them.
I haven't had a chance this year with having so much on my plate but I usually go with some friends to a few local churches, donate food, cook it and help hand out some hot meals.

Its really important that we all chip in $$MONEY$$. With the downturn in the economy, demand for help is way up and donations are way down.
This year my extended family (everyone is still working, knock on wood) will be cutting back on the cost of the gifts we will exchange. BUT that doesn't mean we will spend less. The balance (as in usually buy a $100 gift - this year buy a $20 gift) will be pooled and donated to local food banks and a couple other charities.
Share your good fortune. Even more so this year.
