I've been looking for a few days now but cannot find the the Gauge pod mod instructions.
I know I saw a how to at some point but can't find it now.
I'm wondering about the bezel used to offset the 3rd gauge to point in the same direction as the others. Is this supplied with a new gauge or is it something I will need to fabricate?
If someone can provide a link it would be great. Thanks.
Also what is the interior paint code for the console pieces? When i do the pod mod I want to repaint it when I change it. I also need to do the door switch panels but want to wait to do reflow the switch boards when I have the doors apart.

I remember someone mentioning an adapter plate which will go behind the added gauge to tilt it like the others. I hope this helps.

Look in Jeggs website or Summit. Autometer sells gauge angle rings for your specific purpose to angle the gauges to read them.

Check out this thread (http://mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?p=250473&highlight=%22gauge+pod%22+%22B oost%22#post250473) and search for a few more using "gauge pod" and "boost" as search topics.

You can buy the "spacer" from Summit. It's a kit from Autometer to angle your gauges.

I too could use some touch-up paint. I read somewhere on here that the OEM paint is not the right shade and that another paint code was recommended.

Edit: Darn you, Glenn. :D

yeah... I also shaved mine down using 60 grit sandpaper so it would allow the gauge to sit where the others do.

As mentioned, the Auto Meter gauge angle rings are available from Summit (part# is ATM-2234).

These might help. I used hole saws and a drill press
