wonder if any of you can recommend a anti-virus program that is reliable and wont freeze or mess with your PC performance. recently changed ISP providers and im using their virus protection and it sucks & slows my PC to a crawl. anyone recommend a certain program, maybe a link thanks

AVG Free ver. 8

I install this software on all PC's that I build outside of work and swear by it.

+1, AVG is for the win, never had any problems with it :)

My son and I use AVG Free. I use their anti-virus anti-spyware and have done so for years with no problems. As the name sez it is free and is updated a few times a week sometimes.

Thanks to you 3 for the quick replies. I downloaded the AVG free ver 8 and now i have my PC back. The software is ten times better and really appreciate you guys:bows:. Great community here.
