How Dallas isnt on this list is beyond me. I just dare you to go walking around at night ANYWHERE south of the downtown all the way to Red Oak, 30 miles to the south.

Youngstown is indeed an unsafe city. It is dead and or dying. Most bussiness' are closed and many many homes boarded up. Downtown is a ghost town with no foot traffic and very little traffic.
Cleveland is ranked because of the near East side. It is a dreadfull neighborhood riddled with poverty and gangs. Unfortunately, this is a 90% black community. Other than that 10 square mile east side area, downtown is very safe at night. The near west side is 80% hispanic and poor white. It can be unsafe in certain areas.
In my opinion, Dayton and Toledo should have made the list. Those are the only two cities I was ever robbed when I ran payphone routes in the early 90's. Columbus has some pretty dreary area as well.
