Owners needs to learn not to start the car with the a/c on, you can hear click a few times. Other than that that X-pipe kills the tone of the exhaust.

Sounds good.

Though, I am partial to the deep sound the H-pipe gives my Marauder.

Im sorry but I personally think the stock pipes are the best sounding for our cars. Everyone that modifies there pipes on these cars except for a FEW sound like there driving an 1982 Caprice with 24" wheels and green in color if you catch my flow.

I take it no one's a fan of raspy-ness around here.

I think most of you are just insane. And no that's not me trying to be funny, a lot of you just aren't getting it.

What Import actually has a X pipe on it? None.

H-pipe gives you a deeper burble,

X-pipe give you a more Exotic sound...

No Import actually sounds like 'that' unless it has a V8 in it. And even then those have a deeper machine gun sound to it in the first place.

You are missing the point, 1. the complaint is about the x-pipe sound... whatever method you use to produce said sound is beside the point, that's why your logic sucks in the first place. 2. there are many imported cars with x pipes on their V6s and V8s (ever heard an M3 v8? sounds like poop). 350Z is another and all it's variants. Again though this is really not the point because the position is not that "only imports have x pipes". 3. Exotics? I take it by that you mean Ferraris and Lambos... The marauder will NEVER sound like an exotic, the motor is way too "lazy" it is not the lightweight rev machine that "exotics" have. The revs come in more of a surge than in a snap like in an exotic. It's the droney raspiness that is being talked about... your logic fails

Its a matter of opinion I know that, I just think you and everyone else is wrong :P

I have heard a M3 V8, a RS4, and a 350z, and all three make great sounds.

Perhaps you're too old to appreciate that Audi, and BMW have made V8s that are meant to be revved high, sorta like the Marauder actually, and when the V8s are in their high RPMs they make a beautiful noise.

3. Exotics? I take it by that you mean Ferraris and Lambos... The marauder will NEVER sound like an exotic, the motor is way too "lazy" it is not the lightweight rev machine that "exotics" have. Yes, despite the fact the the RS4, and new M3 all surge through the revs...

Unlike you I've driven a RS4 and I can say it doesn't 'snap' to redline, the 4.2l in the RS4 is a very lazy engine until you start to beat on it. All V8s are lazy engines until you start to put your foot into them.

Ironic then that even if its the drone being talked about, I have a X-pipe and I only have drone at 55mph...which is perfect cause I don't do 55mph.

My logic is sound. Yours needs work.

lol the M3 and the RS4 are not super cars, it's clear that you're on drugs and I feel like I'm having a conversation with a highschooler... too old? I happen to be 25, I just happen to have a some concept of reality. It's a discussion about taste, if it's your taste then that's fine. But you are dreaming if you think any exhaust is gonna make it souns like an "exotic" and no M3s and RS4s are NOT exotics. If you like the sound of the RS4 so muh sell your crown vic and buy one

Vortech347

Its all in the muffler selection. I have an X-pipe on both our mustangs and there isn't any "rasp" and they sound great. A friend of mine has 2 chamber flowmasters and a dr-gas X and that damn thing sounds like it has marbles in the exhaust.

Oh did I say Too Old? I'm sorry...

Too Stupid is what I was going for.

I never said a RS4 or a M3 is a exotic, YOU brought the M3 into this because you think it sounds like crap with a X-pipe from BMW.

The RS4 also has a X-pipe from Audi.

And I never said it made them exotic, I said exotic 'like'

How bad is your reading comprehension?

Most V8s are very lazy engines that aren't that good in the higher RPMs.

Yet the Mod Motor makes most of its power in the high RPMs, just like the BMW has a redline at 8k. That's high revving for a V8.

And I said I drove a RS4, I never said I 'liked' the RS4.

When you smoke the clutch on a brand new RS4 with under 3k on the clock with just one redline shift. You don't have much faith in that car.

apparently a high school education doesn't get you the language skills it used to... if you can't see the obvious problem with your use of the quotes and the implication there in I feel bad for the future. You're out of your league and I'm done playing with you, it's no fun if you can't even follow a bulleted conversation properly

I agree here. My mustang buddy has been trying to convince me to go with an x pipe setup on the MM, and that there will be no obnoxious rasp with the correct muffler selection.
