Joined MM.net as soon as I got back from visiting family in Maine for Thanksgiving. Found a fabulous black 2003 Marauder(private owner)while I was there. Fortunately my brother has been able to deal with the paperwork and money issues for me so I could get temp plates.
Take a bus to Bangor Friday morning and drive home Sunday or Monday depending on the weather. Haven't felt this excited about a car since I bought my '68 442 new in 1968.
I also want to let everyone know how much I appreciate the wealth of information on this website. I've learned a lot about Marauders in the last couple of weeks. Terrific to see people supporting each other this way.
I'll let you know how it goes.
Thanks....Bob

How'd did you make out with the ice storm?
8 days with no power, spent a few nights at the folk's house in N. Leom. (They had the generator). Once their power came on, I took the gen. to my house and ran it from 4 - 11 each night, ran the furnace to warm the house up, and powered up a few rooms.
It was more the snow plowing in between for that week that took its toll on me. 30+ inches in 8 days is quite a bit.
