The shoe was not thrown at George Bush, the man. The shoe was thrown at the President of the United States, it was thrown at YOU and it was thrown at every American because they hate us collectively EXACTLY because of the freedoms that we have. To clear the air a bit, I fully understand who is my commander in chief. I also understand that throwing the shoe at the president is the utmost disrespect, and in that region your feet is considered the lowest and filthiest part of your body. I've done my time in the sandbox, and was also stationed in Camp Doha. Rest assured, this fool... who threw his shoes at the president is laying in the fetal position, in agony! Americans are not liked and that is reality. It was a "GAME" pure entertainment, just like all the other BS stuff out there. I understand the distasteful part, it is what it is. To end it on a lighter note, President Bush IS quick on his feet.
