I usually use what I call the hard candy method, I twist up the ends of each gift I wrap.

I just give everyone nothing on my list

And if someone is materialistic I give it to them upwrapped because I do not like taking the trash out after

I actually enjoy wrapping presents. Years ago my mother worked in a retail store wrapping gifts so I have the technique down. I can do it with only 3 pieces of tape! :D

I'm so good, I cut it to fit and don't need to do any trimming. :D

Hmmm.....maybe a new workshop at our regional meets or MV.

What is the point of wrapping a poll? Even wrapped, it's plainly evident that it is a poll. I think a poll is more of the thing you put a bow on.

I do it all myself and have gotten pretty good at wrapping. Still don't like it .... I especially don't like the odd shaped ones and get pretty creative there. :D

When I have a better half during the holiday's, she does it.....other wise I put the gifts in gift bags with that thin paper stuff hanging out the top....

I do it myself...although the quality of work depends on whether on not I have my geezer glasses nearby or not...

I work at a Printshop in town, and after handling millions of pieces of paper, from small to full size 48"x48" sheets, I have learned techniques on how to handle paper properly....

I too only use 3 pieces of tape.:D I can do it with 2, but then you need to make the "center" area where the sides overlap very tight. or have on side overlap so far, that it meets almost flush with the other side... but that way take too much work cutting and fitting.;)

I was in that line of work at one point also, as a binder though, I worked a folder, a sattle stitch machine, a paperback machine and I cut LOTS of paper, mostly 23x35, watch out for carpel tunnel while curling that paper, ask me how I know:(

NO WAY!

I actually just ran the Baumfolder and paperback binder Friday.

I also run a Heidleberg SORMZ 2 color and an AB Dick small 360 press. I do everything except for the actually graphic design. From films to packaging. I love it!

I'm the only employee.... job security.

I'm actually not that bad at gift wrapping, got a lot of practice when I mailed packages back home, when I was in the Military. I DO let my better half deal with it, especially during the holidays and special events.

I do my own wrapping. sometimes it comes out nice and other times it doesn't. I tend to use lots of tape. If somebody comments on my gift wrapping ability, I just remind them that everyone knows White Boys can't Wrap. Cept for that M&M guy. :D

:bat: I always do my own wrapping here at the batcave. I was taught from a very nice girl at the gift wrapping station at Sears. I told her i needed more practice so she invited me to her apt. where i learned the fine art of gift wrapping and how to un-wrap as well. I think i'm best at un-wrapping tho. But i think i need alot more practice. BATMAN

I'm quite an expert myself, and years ago I invented an aid for gift wrapping, but I invested in Aug. 2001, and didn't have the capital to outlast the scare created by 9-11-2001.
