codes p0401 and p1000 HELP

pulled these codes off of my sisters 02 mustang, ive had the p0401 be fore on my truck and it was some egr controll modular thingy. but then i looked up the p1000 code and and found that this is a code that is thrown when the battery is disconected, which she had it disconnected last night to put in some new speakers. the code reads "monitor testing not complete". can anybody give me a clear answer to these explanations i found on the web?

Most likely the P0401 is the DPFE sensor (small plastic "thingy")

The P1000 just shows that you that the monitor self tests are not complete which yes will show up after disconnecting the battery as it resets the entire system. Don't worry it will go away with normal driving, and would only cause a problem if you needed to pass a state emissions test now or in the very near future (OBDII) . I don't know your states emissions requirements, but don't sweat it.

A P1000 is a normal code if the car has been flashed, P0401 is probably a bad EGR/DPFE
