I agree ^^^^^
A vehicle with a salvage title has that for one reason. I was junk and repaired.
IMO it has very little value.
I for one would never consider it.

A salvage shouldn't hold over 70% value of a good title. Being said, I wouldn't spend a dime over 5k. Its amazing what some salvage vehicle owners try to get for them.

Depending on the severity of the damage there is nothing wrong with a car having a rebuilt title. Don't pay a lot for one and don't expect a lot for one.

I second this I see alot of vehs total out for light damage to consider it is a dollar amount that totals of veh ,The only time you get totals that really scare me are say a 40.xxx veh w/ only15,xxx in damages and is totaled those are mostly what they would call a structural total,if that type of car is fixed it is probably boogered up. IF this car as indicated say had 7500.00 in damage and was totaled with a fair market value of 10,xxx and was mainly bags and frt end components it could have been a light hit, air bags alone can cost approx 1500.00 with all nesc SRS components( air bags comps sensors), hood, fenders, frt cover ,lights and excedra I can see were this car was decalred a TTL. SO in short if the car was repaired correctly w/ all Ford parts It could still be a nice car. I for one would not own a car w/ a salvage title unless I planned to own it for sometime due to the fact the word alone TOTAL LOSS scares alot of people.I have been doing collision repair for over 20yrs and have been thru this a million times. I see alot of people retain there salvage (there car) after it is declared and have it fixed.

You are asking way too little. I'd start at ¥13,999 and work your way down

I personally think he is about 8-900.00 to much but from the pics it looks to be a pretty decent car? other than??

Since there are so many out there, you get the choice between salvage and non salvage. No way would I go the salvage route when for a small premium you can get a car that was not reconstructed?

I dont think this guy cares to sell it anyhow I tried to contact him several times and no reply or anything??? I have been looking to repl my DD veh and if reprs were good & we could reach a acceptable price it might be a good replacement for my other DD veh(2004 Cavalier with 176,xxx) it. who knows besides my 04 Cavalier was excatly that a salvage veh and it hasd been great for 2yrs. I would not contimplate a MM as a DD but since it has a slvg ttl it would be ok in my eyes to be a DD veh

I'm guessing by your handle, you are a body man. If so, you can tell if this "salvage" car was butchered back together. It's the Butcher's that give respectable body tech a bad name. If somebody took time and repaired the car correctly, it wouldn't be a big deal. Even if the frame was straightened, if the guy had printouts from the machine showing that it was in spec. However, I've seen several hacked together repairables out there that were sold for a premium price.
