For some damn reason the cluster that surrounds the radio is squeaking over bumps. Its not the hood. I know for a fact. I tried to remove this cluster and can't figure it out. Whats the trick? Do I just pull it straight out and its just got clips holding it in?

My god its so frustrating...I just wana :flamer:

Are you sure its in the dash and not something in your glove compartment or the sunglass holder thingy?? I had a squeeky noise that drove me nuts!! But it strangly went away after I cleaned my glove compartment.

Lift the front so it clears the console and pull straight out and up. Grab it with two fingers on each side and pull straight and up.. Make sure the shifter is all the way back, e brake on and the veh is not running.. LOL

DASHBOARD BRACKET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My first Marauder did the exact same thing. Ended up being the brackets that support the dashboard directly in the middle of the dash right where the dash meets the windshield. Took 2 dealers to find it. Had to take the dash apart piece by piece and drive it to nail it out.

Once you remove the radio and the dot matrix panels (small one on left, large one on right) there are screws behind the dot matrix panels and I think three over the instrument cluster. Once those are removed you can then pull carefully starting with drivers side just enough to unplug the headlight switch, then carefully pull the complete trim out.

I think tomorrow that I am going to do a good write up with pics of how to remove the plastic pieces on the dash. seems to be that there have been several posts in regards to this. Hope you can find your squeak I had one before on my old vic that I ended up finding by driving the car while I was on the passenger side hanging out the pass door lol turned out to be a plastic clip broke and fell between the splash shield and body.
