Alright fellas, the Indy 1500 Gun and Knife show is in town this weekend, so i took about $200.00 out of the bank, not expecting to buy anything except a knife or two, and came home with a 7.62x54r M1891/30 for only $90.00! I haven't even gotten a picture of it yet, so this will have to do, but i thought i'd start a thread to see what kind of toys you guys have :)

90 dollars is a great deal!
I got an M44 w/ bayonet and cleaning kit for 150 about 6 months ago, made in 1944 :)

A good friend of mine bought two tech 9, 9mm subguns out of the trunk of a car for $50 about 4 years ago. Why anyone would buy a gun being sold out of a trunk I'll never know.

I'm a fan of the 7.62 as well. However, mine is a little different round. CZ-52 in 7.62x25mm. They were made for the Czech army from 1952 (hence the name) to 1954, but remained in use for decades. I got it roughly 6 years ago for about $100, also at a show. It's ugly but it's fun. It is a little hand cannon with muzzle velocities that approach rifle like speed and shoots a flame about 2 feet from the barrel. :flamer:
I can't find a picture of mine right now, but here's a decent facsimile.

Yeah, my buddy who was there with me got an M44 w/ a bayonet for a total of $105.00 with tax. Didn't have a cleaning kit with it, but its an original from 1944. They seem like pretty sweet guns. Can't wait to get out to the range :D

Great peice! I bought one from a garage sale about 10 years ago for $120 and that included 200 rounds of ammo and a soft case.
We can't use rifles in Minnesota for deer so I use mine on coon and other varmints.
What are you, a spy for the anti-gun lobby? I don't own any:D
Sounds like you got a nice deal, tho. I guess you will know for sure when you take it to a range.

How do you like the PPS? Has anyone here shot a Sprinfield EMP in either 9mm or 40S&W? I have been considering either the EMP or the PPS, but can't make up my mind.

Nice! Does it have the round receiver or the hexagonal receiver?
Keep it clean as the bolt tends to stick when you've been shooting awhile.

I have had the PPS for 9 months now and fired everything from the +P's to the cheapest junk and it fired everything well and left groups at 25 yards anyone would be proud of. Yes its a 9 and yes I have a nice little 40 also and I carry the 9.

Hexagonal receiver w/o the permanently fixed bayonet on the side, lol

Colt M1911A1 Mark IV Series 70 .45ACP
But range trips were getting prohibitively expensive on a strictly .45ACP diet, so I bought a Walther P22 .22LR for range plinking.

Just bought a new toy myself today, Walmart still has some leftover Winchesters in stock made by US Repeating Arms before they went bust in 2007. I bought a new in the box Model 70 Super Shadow in 300 WSM, with a Simmons (cheap but ok) scope for $350 plus tax.

I also love these things, enough so that I just bought a second one. Price is really going up though, people are buying them up.

Still waiting for the tax stamps but just bought 1,000 rounds of 5.56. I also aquired 200 rounds of Israeli military issue. Going tomorrow to buy some TAP for home defense use. Soon...very soon (I hope).
