Dennis should I be locking the converter in 3rd with the power I am making?

Pete, the car will lock up depending on the selected shift schedule/lock up schedule, if you have your file in MTF format send it to me and let me look at it.

Im actually wondering if locking the convertor in 3rd with any kind of power is helpful. In the 1/4 my TC locks up around 82MPH and seems to bog me down a bit.

Yeah I hear some were. The reason i asked is because I snapped a hardened Int. Input shaft and was told it was because of the lockup. They say MPH goes up when you lock in third.

Joe was able to give me another program with 3rd unlocked. I now have 2 programs on the SCT scanner. It is so much better with 3rd unlocked!
