Well considering Toms car is in very nice shape, never used for patrol, and is his personal daily driver.... and has good miles on it, I would find his to be just right for his needs.
He doesnt need to change lights.... He doesnt have a hose to put out the fire on his MM. lmao

Adam, Thanks for the compliment! and the support!! My car had a branch land on the trunk lid the I had jump out of the way of otherwise it would have hit me too!! It was a good sized branch and put some dents in both rear quarter panels and the trunk lid! It sucks but I will get them pulled hopefully and the scratches buffed out! You should miss yours!!!
As Adam said... they fit my needs just fine... ligthts in my town are a courtesy... people do not have to pull over for me.. most people don't know that and do anyways... I am not a yahoo that decks my car out in lights because I don't need to seeing as how they are supposed to be jsut a courtesy... I think they were tastefully done on my part and people move out of my way and the car looks good and gets alot of attention at carshows when I have then going.

If this is directed towards me it is because I am an on-call firefighter where I am on-call 24/7 when available to respond and we respond to the station to grab a truck to take to the scene... In my town the light are considered a courtesy and people do not have to move for them, but it is recommended to move seeing as how I am going to a emergency of some sort... I tried to do them tastefully and not be a total yahoo about it! I never use them during the day because people rarely see them and at night I use them for the more serious calls... for automatic alarms etc I just go with the flow of traffic... Definitely makes the car look good too when it is all shined up at a car show with the lights going... it draws people in ... well... helps draw people in more... the car itself does a pretty good job on its own!

I believe yours is, but it has still been abused one way or another during patrol, idling times, and i will never beleive that LEO take as good of care of Station cars, as much as their own personal car that they purchased.

Here you could have flashing blue, but not wig wag headlights or red flashing.
With that light setup here you would get charged with impersonating a police officer.

in MA blue is impersonating an officer. Actually my friends cousin got charged with impersonating an officer because he had blue strobes in his grill of his S-10. He was charged $1200 for it. His truck was off and he was in a parking lot I believe.

Anyone know where I can get the rear deck lights? The unit I've been looking for looks like 4 third brake lights two on each side of the third brake light.
I do a lot of service calls and most of the time my client's are on the side of the road I need Amber lights to put on.

Well, I have personally known the previous Chief who purchased the car from new that I own now. It was a department owned vehicle but he took care of it very meticulously as he is a "car guy" like me owning several classic and antique cars, along with a collection of more "modern" cars. We both hand wash and wax our vehicles, keep most of them in climate controlled garages including our motorcycles, and maintain them better than "factory recommended". I purchased the vehicle from him because I personally know the level of care the vehicle was kept in as he knows the level of care ALL my vehicles are kept in. As Chief's, our cars are not on regular patrol, idling long hours, etc., etc. All of our personal/work vehicles are known to have very little or no mechanical problems, and when they do, they are repaired correctly immediately. We both grew up working on our own vehicles because we couldn't afford mechanics, and had to purchase our own "work vehicles" when we both started our LEO careers. Our work vehicles may have "high" mileage, but that is from long work related trips and just the usual duty mileage our careers demand.
A friend recently helped me remove the top end of the V6 engine in my 1999 Chrysler Sebring Convertible to replace the spark plug oil seals that had deteriorated from age. The engine had 166,319 miles on it and looked like brand new. No gunk, deposits, dirt, or other crap were visible at all. That happens when you take care of your vehicles...it's no secret.

Yeah it's something like that but the unit actually looks like 4 third brake light units put together so when you look into the rear window it looks like 5 third brake lights. I've only seen them on 3 undercover vehicles. It was probably something custom made.
Thanks for posting that cause if I can't figure something out that would probably do just fine.

They make a rear version of this and is also available in dual color (two colors from one LED). Has traffic advisor and warning patterns. Great value.

Ok Vol FF. The opening post did not mention that.
No flames from me. I was a Vol FF for 9 years (89-98) in NY and had my share of blue lights on my ole Bronco. I got the Bronco because my ole 78 Monte Carlo was wrecked while responding to a BS fire call - blue lights on.
Be careful.

I've still got 3 pairs of the factory Ford LED rear deck lights (Federal) from my old duty P71. I've never contemplated putting them in the MM, just too whackerish for me now that I'm out. I'd be up on www.hamsexy.com (http://www.hamsexy.com) in no time!
Check out the first photo in this thread to see them. Any LEOs looking for these, drop me a line. R/B, or R/R, built-in flasher.

I've thought of posting them for sale on CV.net, but I can't just can't bring myself to sell them to potential whackers. We met some real big ones at the last major car show, probably lurking here as well.
Anyways, to those of you still serving, thank you and be safe.
