Mad Max or Road Warrior?

I want to see this movie, but what is it called exactly? Mad Max or Road Warrior?

Also I heard there are movies that take place before and after the first release, are these flicks any good? Is this better than Death Race 2000?

EDIT: Ok I found out it was called Mad Max, but it was Road Warrior to The United States. I just found out there is a Mad Max four in pre-production!!! This would be a good film to get my bands music on!!!!

Again are the other two movies good? Mad Max 2 and the prequel?

Mad Max is the same title in USA and AUS.
In AUS, The Road Warrior was Mad Max 2.
Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome was the same title in USA/AUS.

2. Mad Max2 Road Warrior - excellent again.
3. Mad Max3 Beyond Thunderdome - total snoozer, don't bother

Not sure about the 2/3 designations. I have the first, Mad Max on DVD and just watch the second again on the weekend. Still like them both.

Ahhhh... the good old days sitting in my buddies garage watching first Mad Max then the Road Warrior while shooting BB guns at posters of Fag Bands...oops did I think that out loud? :rolleyes: I like Road Warrior better for the guns but Mad Max for the car seens.
By the way never ever ever get your windshield smashed....your WILL always go off the road...proven in both films many times.

I have all three films, I like them all. I recomend you watcch all three, but in order, Mad Max, The Road Warrior, and Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.
