when i was working as a machinist, I engraved the chevy emblem in the tops of some old pistons.... the were used as the tops of the rope off poles for car shows...

i love the table though. Looks funny in the nice living room lol

I think I've seen that around on a different forum, maybe SVT or CVN but yeah I like it. Should anything ever happen to ol' 111 (btw that's what I occasionally call my MM [kinda emulating the famous B-17 O'l 666 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_666) since the VIN goes 615111]), I'll go the same route cut out its heart, and make it a living room table. :banana:

You can use the empty cylinders to store wine bottles.
(Personally, I'd use the cylinders to store spent beer cans.)
