Every other week I work on getting the MM back on the road, but the odd weeks I have no shop help so it usually just sits, I look for jobs on the internet usually all night long, but that leaves me nothing to do during the day, so I get bored an look for stuff to do. The other day I came across a thread on Snipers Hide on how to paint up your rifle and sometime next week I'm thinking about trying to paint my M4gery, but I have NO idea which way to go.
Should I leave it alone?

Do natural "floral" style camo?

Or go digital camo?

and then from there should I do woodland camo or urban camo? I live in jersey so i'm thinking woodland would probly do best for all around.

Any other options?
I like it the way it is...but if you are tired of that...digital camo looks cool.

Not really, I'm either going to leave it alone or i'm going to paint it either digital or the natural "floral" look. I was thinking about trying desert camo too but that's just silly, I won't be using it in a desert environment ever so no real point other than it looks cool.
It looks cool now but i'm just looking for something to do as I've been pretty bored lately. I was thinking about buying a toy AR first and painting that just to see how it would look in person before doing anything to my rifle.

Go to the woods...
I vote for leave it be, BUT that's mostly cause I don't know how Urban or Woodland would look like.
But if you were me, I'd make it digital Urban, being in NYC. Oh and isn't Floral Urban an oximoron, unless its "Suburban" Floral? :dunno:

I like idea of trying it on a toy 1st, or use a spare set of furniture. Unless you are experienced at this project it could be an exspensive screwup on a rifle that the cost just keeps escalating on. With that said, I believe in having practical firearms. Ones that serve a particular purpose(s). If this is your armagedon rifle, make it to fit the enviroment that it would be used in.
How do you do these? Can you use a baked on finish?

I was going to buy a toy first and play around with it to make sure it looked right, cause I would kick myself if i screwed up my rifle. All the guys on the snipers hide forums are doing it with Krylon's camo line of paints.

'Urban Camo'
I've always been a fan of it. Blues and greys go well. Easy to accomplish too.

Flat non-reflective dark gray shades and some black.
Or chrome it!
Magindat could diamond-plate it for you!

It's Friday and it's been a long long long week. Good gamers know that shiny rifles draw more aggro. ;)

Personally, I think black rifles look best in, uhm, black. I've left all three of mine black. :)
