I find both MM and CVN sites very helpful, there are lots of great knowledegeable folks willing to help.
And there are jerks everywhere that are holier than thou or kids hopping up their rides; seems you fit are one of them by your immature comment?

Every website has technical issues sooner or later, like the owner of this site, Steve takes pride in keeping things running for little or no money at all.
Both CVN and MM are great resources for the Panter community.
Some of you need to grow up and quit being so devisive, you sound like kindergarden brats. :lol:

Whats with all the hating? So you love the car you bought................BIG DEAL! You may have chose Vic, Marquis, or MM and thats your liking, don't expect everyone else to jump in and swing your way. If we all owned Marquis's then it would be a ls vs. gs fight. Face it we are all here because of styling, room and comfort, and not exactly a slump when in a dogfight at the light. I like PANTHERS! Next to my car i think a Beaten pos ex cop car would be my next pick for a "fun car". After that a Sport or a Ls for the comfort, ride quality, cheap and plentiful for what they offer so on and so on.

I've sat back and seen some hurtfull words thrown around for reason's that make no sense. CVN guys say we consider ourselves the high and mighty, maybe we do a little, after all we shelled out the denero to get something that is extremely rare and most of us have crammed more money in them to even make more to our liking. After spending countless thousands of dollars even if its a Datsun (Now i did it, the Datsun guys are gonna start posting up!!!!!) you should feel a little high and mighty!

You should feel even more cocky if you saved money and bought a basic Merc or Ford and done very little to it to make it outperform a MM!!!! Congratulations!!! Thats cool that you pulled it off, but why not save the B.S. posts for the Dodge or Chevy guys???? Isn't that where the fight should be???? I'd personally like to have a well equipped ford for daily use and an outstanding family car, a p71 for a work car, and a heavilly modded MM for when i wanna play!

I just hate to see all this arquing when summers right around the corner and all the meets at carshows, track, etc. start popping up. Here in the big windy we get along great, at the track we get along even better! We include the cv guys in everything we do and vice versa. I'm always interested in seeing a quick car, or clean and well cared for car, and the respect between ALL owners of panthers around here is top notch. I've met some good people and gave out my fair share of compliments that were deserved.

One hurdle that is difficult at times would be the difference in age, this can usually be conquered with good old car talk, that is why we joined right? I hope to see a Panther get to 12's NA, it would be a great accomplishment! I took the easy way and bought a used s/c because i'm a very impatient person and i'm only at 12.9. Its called Capital One, whats in your wallet?

Aftermarket companies (like JLT)? or mabye the fact that your cars are made by the same company, on the same frame?!?! One has a bigger engine and better ride, one is affordable for the masses and built to last forever. there. simple right? I have a cvpi and while i love it, i would trade up to a marauder if the chance presented itself. alot of the guys with the marauders have a cv as a daily driver, to reduce wear on the marauder, but the point is, that if the cv was really so bad, why have one as a daily driver? i guess the point im getting across here is, how about everyone gets along? I'd say beers all around on me, but you'll have to wait a year for them if you want that (not 21 yet :)). so what do you say? everyone done? lol. jeez. for being a "young immature cv owner" why am i the one trying to mediate this? jeez kids. time to grow up and play nice.

lol as i stated, i was being bored and i hope nobody took us seriously...so dont worry about me brother!! youre kewl in my book :beer:. panther is a panther and both communities have a lot to learn from one another, what is known on one side of the pond can be beneficial to the other, both sites have a lot of info on panthers and at least around these woods as bob stated we try to look out for one another and invite all PANTHERS to come out and hang out at meets whenever we schedule them. you will allways have bad apples, but overall as true car enthusiests we all have respect if not for rarity than for the work that an owner put into their ride. and one thing that is absolutelly true is that we all love panther platform cars, so from CVN to MMN we stand as one and united against the forces of dodge and chevy and these guys :hotrice:so grab a cold one and lets help each other out :beer:
