Pinks All Out
Friday, April 24 - Saturday, April 25, 2009
PINKS All Out will visit zMAX Dragway April 24-25 for the show's fourth episode of the 2009 season.
The event, hosted by Rich Christensen, executive producer and creator of PINKS, is an entire day's worth of on-track racing and off-track activities, culminating at dusk in the running of the final 16. Filmed for the highly-popular show on SPEED, the event invites local racers to run their cars "all out" during two time trial sessions, while the show's technical advisors select the closest grouping of elapsed times to make up the PINKS All Out 16. Any racer who tries to guess the elapsed time or ‘sandbag' (running slower to fit within a certain elapsed time category in order to gain an advantage) will be disqualified from the competition.
Competitor Check-in and test n' tune will be held on Friday, while Saturday will feature a full schedule of drag racing action. There will be a midway area for fans to enjoy with the SPEED Mobile Theatre on hand providing entertainment and celebrity autograph sessions.
Check back in the coming weeks for more details on the event schedule and ticket information.
