What should I pay for this?

I need to replace my posi and get a new tune going for my Marauder. I was told about a place in my area that's a dealership that installs performance products and tunes cars. I was told they were the best by a very good source from this site, but I think they wanted somewhere around $500 for the labor of installing the posi and tuning, NOT includding the cost of the posi.

I know of a great place that installs gears at a very low cost. I was thinking of going there for the install, posi and going to the dealership for a tune. Does this sound like the best thing to do? Or should I get it all done in one shot at the dealership? Also what do you guys think I should be spending by the time I am done with a new posi, install and tune?

I would like the cost be low as possible, but I don't want anything that will crap out on me after a month.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

P.S. I have pretty much decided to go with a Detroit Locker... if you know the model number please let me know.

$500 for a tune and posi install sounds quite reasonable to me. Remember the old addage you get what you pay for is often true.

Cool. Last guy that installed my stuff put in a posi and 4:10 gears for $275. :eek: Did it in one day too. Well I will contact Brad and see what he has to offer.
