Our resident Troll has come out from hibernation with a vengeance...I'm guessing that ALL the VW and Jaguar forums banned him...so HE's BACK!

Looks like he wants to pick on DOOM now.

Once again, let's all employ our best weapon, and his worst fear:

IGNORE THE TROLL!

A goldfish has a memory span of three seconds.
This ^^^^ is a myth.

Memory
In 1994, a public experiment at the Palais de la Découverte science museum showed that goldfish could be trained to recognize and to react to light signals of different colors by using positive reinforcement.[15] More recent research by the School of Psychology at the University of Plymouth in 2003[citation needed] demonstrated that goldfish have a memory-span of at least three months and can distinguish between different shapes, colors and sounds. They were trained to push a lever to earn a food reward; when the lever was fixed to work only for an hour a day, the fish soon learned to activate it at the correct time. The Discovery Channel's popular show Mythbusters tested the myth that goldfish only had a memory span of 3 seconds and were able to prove that goldfish had a longer memory span than commonly believed. It was evident that they were able to remember the way and that they therefore had a memory span of over three seconds.[16]A study at the start of the 2000's showed that fish do actually respond to certain colours, this is most evident when it comes to feeding as fish are also aware of feeding times provided they are fed at around the same time everyday.

Moreover there is no Statute of Limitations on forgetting an anniversary. I have been reminded of this for 30 years --- ever since our 4th sorta slipped my mind.

In 2003, Doom was the sole villain in the Fantastic Four story arc "Unthinkable", in which Doom imprisons Franklin Richards (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franklin_Richards) in Hell and captures Valeria Richards (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valeria_Richards) before succeeding in fighting the Fantastic Four to a standstill. Writer Mark Waid sought to redefine Doom's character in a way that had not been seen before. In Waid's reinterpretation, Doom hates Richards for knowing at his core he was right when Doom was wrong.[24] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doctor_Doom#cite_note-23)[25] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doctor_Doom#cite_note-FFManifisto-24) Waid was also convinced that the "truism that Victor Von Doom is, despite his villainy, a noble man" (as suggested in Byrne's run) "is absolute crap. [...] A man [Doom] whose entire motivating force is jealousy is ridiculously petty, not grandly noble. Yes, Doom is regal, and yes, whenever possible, Doom likes to act as if he possesses great moral character, because to him that's what great men have... — but when I hear Doom say it 'does not suit him to' do this-and-such, what I hear is, 'it has nothing to do with my hatred for Reed Richards, so it's not worth my time.'" Waid also stated that Doom "would tear the head off a newborn baby and eat it like an apple while his mother watched if it would somehow prove he were smarter than Reed." [25] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doctor_Doom#cite_note-FFManifisto-24)
