View Full Version : Can't Upload and Can't Delete

Ever since the Upgrade there has been a problem with the Photo Gallery. I cannot upload. There are no "Browse" Buttons to access the file from my computer. Apparently, this has affected many other members. Not sure if it affects everyone.

Although it says I have 22 MB space left in the Member Gallery, another link says that my space is full and that I must Delete some pics to make space available.

Now, I find out that there is no button or menu item in the "Image Tools" drop down to even delete old pics. HOW DO YOU DELETE PICS????

This is very frustrating ..... anyone? anyone?

NEED HELP IN UPLOADING AND DELETING PICS IN THE GALLERY.

Looks like I have been "upgraded" right out of business altogether. :confused:

I too am having the same problem Mary.
Trying to upload photos to any gallery.

It's the gallery marked "Gallery" on the top menu bar >>>>> http://www.mercurymarauder.net/showcase/

If you go to gallery and click on upload no browse button.
It just asks for title, description, category, and keyword.

Whew.glad to see someone else is having issues. Since i started using Google Chrome as my browser i thought it was related, since it doesn't have a way to delete anything either. Opening the other ones still produced the same results, no upload ability.

Charlie, at this particular time all you can do is replace existing pics with new ones, quite the delima.

"Gallery/Showcase" is the old gallery.

"Photos/Gallery" is the older gallery that has been upgraded and is the one to be used.

I show 569 photos for you, with 103.2 mb of space used. I increased the gallery space by 50 mb. See if you can upload to "Photos" now. I found the way to allow for members to delete photos. Charlie, see what you can do now.

"Gallery/Showcase" is the old gallery.

"Photos/Gallery" is the older gallery that has been upgraded and is the one to be used.


I too had this problem. Your explanation of the difference between these to fixed my problem. I was going to the wrong place.

Might I suggest changing the link "Upload" found on "Gallery/Showcase" to go to a page that explains the differences as you did above with a link to the correct destination?

I must have something missing or am looking in the wrong place. I have two separate entities for photo and gallery and neither have provision to upload to my gallery. There is a box for allowed .ext that can be used but no browse button for choosing the photo itself.

I can't figure how to pull photo's from my MAC to my gallery?

No matter what I click on, no matter what route I take into this portion of the website I have not got the ability to browse for the file I want to upload...

I like to think I can pick this stuff up intuitively (or at least by accident) but I cannot...if anybody has a REALLY DUMBED DOWN way to help I'm open to it...

We are aware of this problem,, it is software related and are in the process of fixing it.

Uploads should work now. Still trying to figure out the "delete" button.

As far as delete goes...I am obviously no expert on this - but on another forum I had uploaded some pic's and wanted to clean my gallery up a bit and never to this day have I found a delete button (another vBullentin site BTW).
