After months of waiting for it to be produced, and many more months of it sitting in the garage, I finally got around to installing it today for the upcoming 3-day car show. (http://carlcasper.com/)

I wish it had come pre-dilled, but instead it came with "heavy duty" velcro.

Searching some old threads on here provided the pictures and information I needed to drill the holes in the appropriate locations.

The two lower drilled holes:

It compliments the custom hood liner well and should score some extra points during the upcoming car show season.

All of the pics can be seen here. (http://www.supermotors.net/registry/18556/68248)

Was it worth the wait and hassle? I think so.

Nice! Looks sharp.

I want a plain one for my Vic. Looks better with the liner than just seeing metal. Is the velcro not so good?

Thanks, everyone.

Mike is correct. The liner was made by CAR Motorsports.

 !Hmmm! I think it's time to make a call to my mangs of Car Motorsports and buy one for my MERC-75 INTERCEPTOR as soon as he get well from the injuries.

I too am still waiting, ordered before Christmas.

I can't tell from the pictures, but are there any holes drilled in the top half of the cover? I can clearly see the two pairs of holes on the bottom half.

Regards,

Ryan, I am sure they can sell you a blank one.

My recommendation is to keep calling. Squeaky wheel....

Yes, there are two holes drilled in the top of the liner. I should have taken a pic of them.

Hope this helps.

Is it me, or does it look like this should be the Silver Surfer's car? That photo angle and the reflections make the paint look like liquid mercury. (no pun intended).
