I have 2 old 27 inch Tube TVs and Im thinking the 870 wants to see what kind of damage it do.

I have a big clay/dirt pile that is 7+ ft tall, to set it in front of, I have ear protection, and z87 safety glasses.

AND... I live out in the country, closest neighbor is 1/8 - 1/4 mile away, (an im not shooting in thier direction).

What do you think, You want before and after pics?

I shouldnt get any bounce back (richoqet) I dont know how to spell it.

Good to go?

Heck, when ABC, CBS or NBC news comes on at 6:30 PM eastern ( doesn't make any difference which network, does it?) shoot the dumb bastage or bastigette right off the TV stand. No sense wasting precious ammo of a dirt pile, huh? :beer:Dennis

04 gives you more pellets, what choke in the shotgun? Probably doesn't matter at close up... Just kill those things, always feels better afterwards. Ya, I know I'm a sick puppy. :D

haha that reminds me. when i was younger we had an old computermonitor that took a dump so i started to take it apart for the hell of it. well when i got to the end of the tube where it comes to a point, there was a piece i couldnt get off. so i smacked it with a hammer and it began sucking air in. i got scared n got under the table.

Believe I would have used a .45 pistol. More fun 'cause it would have taken longer (box of 50). Also a chance to improve your pistol shooting.
Then 00 buckshot for the last five rounds - 'Wild Bunch' style.
Then reload like Lucas McCain in the opening credits of the 'Rifleman' :bandit:

Those Elvis stories are a hoot! I can't imagine being in the same room when some nut busts a cap on a .357.

They say he did it more than once, but it would have only been a single time I ever visited that head case.

PS: If you've never been in an enclosed environment when a handgun has been discharged, I assure you it's a never to be forgotten experience.

Mike, he would not get away with doing it today. At a minimum someone would claim he disrupted their sleep three blocks away and file a lawsuit.
