HELP !!!!

I'm looking for a set of drill guides either to buy or borrow (I'll be glad to pay postage both ways). I don't have mine anymore, and I need to help someone put a spoiler on.

Any help or suggestions are welcome.

Just thread a bolt into all the holes and put a dap of wax/lipstick on the bolt heads and press the spoiler onto the trunk lid.

I have never used the inside templates. I just take the pilot bit and drill all the way through (from the outside) then enlarge the inside holes.

I haven't used the inside template either, I did mine the same way you did starting with a long bit from the outside.

 Thanks Zack not a bad idea with the wax, maybe I'll try to improve on it and use threaded rod barely sticking out of the spoiler. I'm anal when it comes to having it evenly spaced and perfectly level plus there will be some room for adjustment with the mounting bolt holes.

The templates are pretty useless, what you need are "spoiler locator tabs"

( I have a unpainted spoiler for sale also http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?p=723451 )

This pic shows the locator tabs
