Has any of the MGM drivers had a RPM Gauge installed? Or any other gauges installed? Sadly 99MGM does not but i am looking to put a RPM in it and also relocate my oil and temp to gauges (possibly)
..so any MGM's with aftermarket gauges PICS PLEASE

...thanks

RPM gauge = tachometer? :dunno:

Technically correct...but it does sound odd.

To answer your question, I've seen many CV's with a pillar mount tach.
It looks fine, but a 2-1/8 inch tachometer is hard to read as the engine revs quickly.
My brother has an Autometer single pod in his 2000 CV.
I can get photos if you want.
It is a better solution than a Ricer Retard 'Monster' Tach on the dash.

 nothing like seeing a stock Shivic with one of those on the column.

Search on Crownvic.net there is plenty of information about wiring in a tach adapter.

Does it go to the left or right of the speed gauge?

Why not install one on the hood ala the old Pontiacs?

Or go ricer-style and put a pizza on the dash with shift light.

Hey, now that might not look too bad.

This was my initial try with a gauge pod on my 93CVLX. worked OK.

This was a Marauder conversion that worked better.

lol ok.
no ricer spare tires with a dummy flash shift light goes on my dash. :hotrice:

i like the small guage but as stated it might get hard to view as RPMs rise.
the conversion to the marauder style cluster looks good and just relocate the volts and temp to guages might look better :hmmm:

It's oil pressure and volts.:D
