Rather than post over in his "for sale" thread:
Legit questions were asked about the item that's being offered "for sale"...err, AUCTION. The first couple posts mentioned nothing of eBay, and the Buy It Now price does indeed take the "obo" part out of the equation.
Even if I was interested, the risk of paypalling the dude money on THIS site and then having him sell it to the eBay winner elsewhere would have taken all of the interest out of it for me...
7500 posts and a reputable member vs. someone with 94 posts and no real history...
Hmmm, it's not that hard.

Seemed like a fair question to me. If I'd been the one offering to buy it I may not have been too impressed that I had to move on to E-Bay and start bidding. Also, I don't think there was anything wrong with your tone. In fact, for Zack you showed a lot of restraint (yeah, I know. Backhanded compliment. What can ya do).

Lots of forums don't allow ebay links because the item is not for sale. It's for auction. All slickVic is trying to do is drive the price up.

It does seem strange, most people give folks here first shot at something. Or offer it for sale followed by 'on such and such day, if no one here buys it, it will go on e-bay'. Or also 'Hey everybody I just listed a bunch of stuff on e-bay'. Odd.

I agree with Zack here....as pointed out, he stated fact....to me the add was totally misrepresented here in the first post...then he totally went off the reservation with is comments to Zack and the negitive feed back...not to mention the vulgerness of the negitivity....

I really think Vic should be sanctioned/warned not to bring that kind of crap to MM again. That was an underhanded way of dealing with the members here and should not be tolerated. I am glad Zack called this guy out on it and that he will not receive any negative connotations for his' actions. Zack was just doing what he normally does ....looking out for the members on this site.
