I was watching a few minutes of "Bewitched", and up drives Larry Tate in a bright yellow "Vette". I started thinking about all the cars in old TV programs. Bewitched always seemed to have a lot of nice chevys, I Dream of Jeanie, always a GTO, can you think of others from the muselcar era?

Those are great, I think I've seen them all but not in the same place. Those are some of them, I'm looking for cars in shows, not about cars. I wonder if some remember that "The FBI" only had Fords, every car parked, driving, everywhere, just like Hawaii 5-0.

A lot of the classic TV shows actually had cars supplied by the big 3...I'm sure Bewitched was on that list.

I remember the private eye show from the 60's (telling age) called Honey West where she drove an AC Cobra on the show.
I also watch the series 24, they seem to be using all Fords on that one.
Didn't the tv show Vegas with the feature P.I. named Dan Tana at first drive a 66 mustang 2+2?
Just a few.;)

'Get Smart' always had some really cool Fords.
Maxwell Smart drove a Sunbeam Tiger, and there were a couple of Shelbys, including a GT500 convertible.

At that age, I was more interested in Agent 99 than cars. Now, I don't understand why.

Though a bit more obscure, I always like Joe Mannix's Dart GTS ragtop:

Sweet! Forgot all about that one.
Anyone remember Highway Patrol with Broderick Crawford! If I remember right they drove Buicks and the tires squealed when the peeled out in the gravel! :burnout: This was in the 50s for you young guys.

Seems to me that Broderick Crawford drove a '49 or '50 Ford Victoria with the bullet grill on "Highway Patrol". But they did squeal on the gravel. ;)

Didn't Mannix drive a customized Barracuda convertible with twin wrap around windshileds for a while also?

Check out this link...............
http://www.highwaypatroltv.com/MotorTrend1997/
"Actually, during the series’ production from 1955 to 1959 (it’s been in reruns around the world ever since), Mathews drove everything from a ’54 Olds 88 through a ’59 Dodge Coronet; but that ’55 Buick personified the character as much as his crisp fedora and snub-nosed .38. "The first cars were actual California Highway Patrol units, borrowed from the CHP," explains Goltz. "They had the Special 48 coupe body, Century engine, and Roadmaster brakes. These were among the first cars built specifically for police use." Buick built 270 of these "Century 68" two-doors, half with three-speed column-shift manual transmissions and half with slushy Dynaflow automatics. All served with the CHP and just two are known to survive."
I clearly remember Mr. Crawford driving that Buick when I was a kid.

Yup. Windshield post looks like its from a 55-57 Buick. I had a 56 Special (303 with a 3 speed on the column), what a tank, torquey old bugger.
