On the way into work this morning I notice that the heat wasn't blowing as hot as usual. So I looked at the temp gauge and it barely had moved after about 10mins of driving. So when I arrive to work about 8mins later the temp gauge did'nt move and the heat didnt get any warmer. Does any one have any ideals of what's going on.

Have you checked your thermostat?

No, I haven't check the thermostat yet, but would that cause the gauge and the heat not to work properly.

Same thing happened to me the day after I bought my MM. Same symtoms...bad thermostat. Make sure you burp the system after you replace it.

Most likely the thermostat is stuck open. Put your hand on the top radiator hose after you run it a while and see if it gets hot,if not, change your thermostat.

After the superchager install was the system properly burped? I would try that first before throwing parts at it.

Okay I pulled out the old thermostat and installed new one. Now the temp guage will go up and down from the 1/2 way point of the gauge all the way up to 3/4 or more on the guage. My local dealership gave me a printout of the assemble of the thermostat. The diagram shows the thermostat drops in 1st then the o-ring. But when I pulled out the old thermostat, it came out 1st then the o-ring so I installed the new one exactly how the old one was. Whats the correct way to install it and why is the guage going up and down?
